Technology & Communication Policy

At Intune Group, we use technology to enhance learning and maintain clear communication with families. This policy outlines expectations for device use and communication to ensure a productive and respectful learning environment.

Purpose

This policy supports a focused academic environment by setting clear expectations for how technology and communication tools are used during tutoring sessions.

Student Device Use

During tutoring sessions, students are expected to:

  • Use devices only for learning-related activities
  • Avoid gaming, social media, texting, or unrelated browsing
  • Follow tutor instructions regarding device use
  • Use headphones when requested to minimize distractions

Failure to follow these expectations may result in reduced session effectiveness or early session termination.

Parent Communication

Intune Group communicates with parents/guardians through phone calls, email, and SMS/text messaging. These communications may include:

  • Scheduling updates
  • Session reminders
  • Student progress updates
  • Program announcements

SMS Policy

1- SMS Consent Communication:

The information (301) 328-1458 obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

2- Types of SMS Communications:

If you have consented to receive text messages from InTune Group Inc, you may receive messages related to the following:

  • Appointment reminders
  • Follow-up messages
  • Promotions or offers (if applicable)

Example:

"Hello, this is a friendly reminder of your upcoming appointment with InTune Group Inc. Ruth Mosley on 04/09/2026 at 4:30 PM. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time."

3- Message Frequency:

Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to 10 SMS messages per week related to your appointments, billing, etc.

Example:

"Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to 10 SMS messages per week regarding your appointments, account status, offers, promotions and follow-ups."

4- Potential Fees for SMS Messaging:

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier's pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

5- Opt-In Method:

You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from InTune Group Inc in the following ways:

  • By submitting an online form (If Applicable)

6- Opt-Out Method:

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply "STOP" to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.

7- Help:

If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword HELP. Or, you can get help directly from us at (301) 328-1458 or Contact@intunegroupinc.com

Additional Options: If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, you can choose not to check the SMS consent box on our forms.

Communication Expectations

To ensure effective service:

  • Questions or concerns should be directed to Intune Group, not individual tutors unless instructed

We take reasonable steps to ensure safe use of technology during sessions. However, parents are encouraged to:

  • Monitor device usage outside of tutoring
  • Ensure students have access to appropriate learning tools

Policy Enforcement

Intune Group reserves the right to:

  • Limit or redirect device use during sessions
  • Address misuse of technology or communication tools
  • Suspend or discontinue services if expectations are not met

Agreement

By participating in Intune Group services, families agree to follow this Technology & Communication Policy.
